Brianna Blackwell-Miller
Brianna Blackwell-Miller is an independent author and self-made boss hailing from Anniston, Alabama. From the time she was a child, she loved books as well as journaling and poetry writing. Having a vivid imagination, Brianna isn’t striving to fit into a specific literary box. Her desire is to publish various works that will inspire the world, one page at a time.
Aside from being an author, Brianna is also the founder of Unchained Connections, a pen pal service unique to incarcerated individuals. She has a passion for entrepreneurship and in 2020, she created Goal Diggin' Hustlers, which is an initiative that embraces and encourages Black solopreneurs. Recently, she has stepped into the content creator lane, co-hosting Straight from the Belly of the Beast podcast on Spotify, examining the grittiness of today's prison culture. Additionally, Brianna is the creator of True Crime Unlocked, a digital channel that explores and unravels crime stories.
With 10+ years of experience in working from home, she has crafted an online hub for others who aspire to garner pay in their pajamas. Founded in 2018, The Work at Home Haven currently has over 3,000 members in its exclusive Facebook group and counting. Additionally, the brand's course, The Ultimate Work at Home Masterclass, has reached nearly 100 students.
Along with the success of her debut novel, Never Meant to Hurt You, her work-at-home guide, Home Sweet Work: The Ultimate Guide to Learning How to Work From Home, is one of Brianna's most cherished works to date. The Alabama native holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and is now pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from the University of West Alabama.
Though Brianna is now a wife and her name has changed, she will still write under the pen name, Brianna Nicole Blackwell.

Ashley Te'Arra Blackwell
Born and raised in Anniston, Alabama, Ashley Te'Arra Blackwell is an entertainment journalist, Amazon best-selling author, and creative entrepreneur. Jump-starting her journey in 2015, Ashley previously served as the Editor-in-Chief of Polish Magazine, where she dedicated herself to aiding young women of color in sharing their stories worldwide.
From there, she moved on to become a contributor for Kontrol Girl (a sister brand to Kontrol Magazine) and famed gossip blog Baller Alert. Additionally, she’s had guest articles featured in Hip Hop Vibe and GROWN Magazine, among a few other smaller publications. To date, she’s conducted 60+ celebrity interviews, with talents such as Lynn Whitfield, Tank, and Ledisi rounding out her massive portfolio.
A true freelancer at heart, Ashley prides herself on being a Jill of all trades, as she also specializes in content creation, copywriting, and graphic design. However, in May 2018 is when Ashley made her leap into the literary industry. At an early age, she began penning short tales and poems, which eventually led to her writing her first unpublished novel in 2015. Now a published author, under the pen name, Ashley Te'Arra, her two-book series If These Pews Could Talk went on to become a bestseller in Amazon's 'African American Christian Fiction' category.
Today, along with her rising career in literature, Ashley is currently an editor/columnist for the New York-based publication Parlé Magazine and a staff writer for The Jasmine Brand.
With a growing number of bylines and books under her belt, Ashley's only hope is to continue unapologetically delivering thought-provoking narratives that resonate with the readers… on and off the page. Be it in the chapters of her fiction work or the introductory blurbs of her next journalistic write-up.
