Shannon Reynolds is a debut author under the pen name “S.R. Reynolds."
Shannon grew up in a small town in Southern Maryland where tobacco blankets the majority of the land, crab cakes are a household staple, and the mosquitos pull down your socks to bite your ankles. She is a mother of four and a "Glamma" to five. Since childhood, Shannon has always had a fixation on words and how they were used to fabricate myths, fables, and poems. She believes that anything can be woven into a story, if it’s told right. As an avid reader, the mideastener enjoys reading books that pull her in and make her feel a part of the story. Her goal as a writer is to dismiss the notion of the reader as an observer peering into the window, unseen, and gazing haphazardly at the characters. Shannon wants the reader to feel everything in the story and its pages. Peering in from the inside like a welcomed fly or mosquito nestled in a corner on the wall. |
